This tester is used to evaluate the flame-retardant performance of blanket fabrics and the flame spread behavior on the fabric surface. The test method applies a standardized flame to the specimen surface for a specified time and observes the combustion, damage level, or discoloration of standard indicator paper in order to classify the tested fabric.

• Stainless steel chamber, 370 mm x 220 mm x 510 mm, with transparent observation window on the door.
• No. 18 needle flame with adjustable flame length.
• Imported needle valve adjusts flame height to 16 mm.
• Ignition time can be freely set.
• Safety gas valve inside the chamber; gas can pass only after the machine power is switched on.
• Rotatable burner; the distance from the burner top to the specimen surface is 8 mm.
• Flow meter range: 0 to 200 mL/min.
• Timer accuracy: 0.01 s.
• When the burner rotates to the ignition position, ignition timing starts automatically; ignition time is 1 second with end-of-time reminder.
• Stainless steel brushing device and sample holder; equipped with nylon brush of 76.2 mm length and 22.2 mm height.
• Standard stainless steel specimen clamps are provided; upper clamp size 88.9 mm x 88.9 mm, lower clamp size 88.9 mm x 76.2 mm.
• Specimen size: 70 mm x 70 mm.
• Power supply: 220V, 50Hz.
