The TESTech automotive interior vertical combustion tester is developed and manufactured according to the relevant clauses of the national standard GB 32086-2015. It is suitable for vertical combustion performance testing of special automotive interior materials. The design also references GB/T 5456-2009 for determination of flame spread properties of vertically oriented textile specimens.

The equipment is fitted with a touch-screen intelligent control system. Relevant standard test programs can be freely selected from the start interface, making the testing process more convenient and simpler.

• Paint-coated cabinet with transparent observation window and built-in energy-saving lighting inside the combustion chamber.
• Combustion chamber dimensions: 800 mm x 500 mm x 950 mm.
• Sample fixture consists of a rectangular frame 560 mm high connected by two parallel rods spaced 150 mm apart. The rods are fitted with fixing pins not more than 2 mm in diameter and at least 27 mm long, with locating columns of 2 mm diameter and 20 mm height.
• The frame must be mounted on a suitable support to ensure the parallel rods remain vertical during testing.
• U-shaped pressing plate with thickness 1 mm; 12 round holes of 4 mm diameter are distributed on each side, with hole spacing corresponding to the fixing pin spacing. The U-shaped plate ensures vertical flatness of the specimen in the fixture and must be smooth and rigid.
• Torch is positioned at the front lower part of the specimen. The burner center axis forms a 30 degree angle with the specimen plane, and the distance between the burner bottom and the lower edge of the specimen is 20 mm.
• Flame height adjustable from 10 mm to 120 mm; test flame height 40 mm +/-2 mm.
• Electronic automatic ignition; ignition time can be freely set from 0 to 9999.99 s; afterflame time and afterglow time are automatically recorded and digitally displayed.
• Burner is mounted on a sliding track and timing starts automatically when the burner moves to the burning position.
• Imported needle valve precisely controls gas flow and adjusts flame height.
• Imported gas burner provides more stable flame heat release.
• Imported brand pressure gauge and regulating valve adjust gas pressure.
• PLC plus touch-screen intelligent control system makes the test process more convenient and simple.
• System automatically ignites, automatically times, and automatically stores test data.
• Burning time is automatically recorded and burning rate is automatically calculated and stored.
• When any of the three marker threads (white mercerized cotton, one roll supplied) burns through, the weight automatically drops and timing is automatically triggered.
• Optional hot-wire anemometer for wind speed measurement.
• Optional thermal printer for on-screen printing of test reports at any time.
• Optional gas detection and control system with gas leakage detection, sound and light alarm, and automatic gas shutoff to provide real-time gas monitoring and improve equipment and personnel safety.
