Product Overview

 

The determination of the fire performance of building materials is an important experiment in safety engineering.

 

According to the national standard GB/T 8626-2007, the instrument is used to determine whether building materials are flammable under specified conditions and to evaluate the combustion performance of flammable building materials.

 

This apparatus is designed and developed according to GB/T 8626 and ISO 11925. It is suitable for determining the flammability of building products by direct impingement of a small flame on a vertically positioned specimen without additional radiant heat.

 

It is suitable for combustion testing under the latest GB/T 8624-2014 fire classification of building materials and can be used for Class A, B1, and B2 testing.

Equipment Structure

 

  • The cabinet is spray-painted for an attractive appearance. Cabinet dimensions: 1000 mm x 400 mm x 800 mm.
  • Combustion chamber dimensions: 700 mm x 400 mm x 600 mm.
  • The burner imported from the United States has an inner diameter of Phi0.17 mm and four Phi4 mm air adjustment holes.
  • Japan-imported gas flow control valve for precise control of flame temperature.
  • Taiwan-brand pressure gauge and pressure regulating valve for accurate control of gas pressure.
  • The flame height is adjustable, with automatic ignition.
  • Flame application time and afterflame time can be adjusted within a range of 0 to 99 minutes 99 seconds.
  • Gas pressure: 10 KPa to 50 KPa.
  • Burning angle: 0 degrees (vertical) and 45 degrees.
  • The burner can move horizontally by means of an adjustment handle outside the cabinet.
  • The tempered glass door allows convenient observation of the test.
  • All internal fixtures are made of stainless steel for good appearance and corrosion resistance.
  • Two stainless steel specimen holders are provided together with a flame height gauge.
  • The test system has a high level of automation, accurate experimental data, and easy operation.

  • Automatic timing, automatic ignition, and ignition abnormality protection.
  • Storage of test data for six samples.
  • Liquid crystal touch-screen display.
  • Real-time monitoring of test data, query of test data for six specimens, and query of alarm information.
  • Audible alarm for abnormal test conditions.

 

Additional Information

 

  • Customer-supplied item: propane gas.
  • Optional accessory: a device allowing the specimen to move up and down together with the specimen holder during the test (RMB 2000), suitable for specimens that melt and shrink during burning.
