Since the early 1990s, Qimen County's electronics and electrical appliance industry has evolved through three distinct stages of development: its inception under the "Second Light Industry" sector, its expansion driven by township enterprises, and its subsequent leap forward led by private enterprises. In 2021, the industry generated a total output value of 3.7 billion RMB and contributed 140 million RMB in tax revenue. With the promulgation of documents such as the *Action Plan for the Development of the Basic Electronic Components Industry (2021–2023)* and the *Opinions on Deepening the Reform of Management Systems in the Electronics and Electrical Appliance Industry*, the sector has embarked on a path of high-quality development.
Technologically, the architecture of automotive electronics and electrical systems is evolving from traditional distributed configurations toward domain-centralized and central-computing architectures. For instance, the 2017 Audi A8 featured a central driver assistance controller (zFAS), while the Tesla Model 3 adopted a central computing module (CCM). Multi-core virtualization technologies-such as the solutions provided by RT-Thread-are driving this architectural evolution, effectively addressing bottlenecks in computing power as well as functional safety challenges.
