A drying oven primarily consists of three main components: the chamber, the electric heating elements, and the temperature control system. In recent years, drying ovens have been enhanced with the addition of a temperature display and a temperature setting device.

 

The chamber typically features a triple-layer design comprising an outer casing and two internal cavities formed between three layers of sheet metal. The outer cavity is filled with thermal insulation material, while the inner cavity serves as a convection channel for hot air.

 

Key accessories-such as drying trays (also referred to as racks or baking pans)-are used to hold materials within the drying oven; these are predominantly fabricated from stainless steel or aluminum alloy.

 

The control system is typically housed in a side compartment located on the left side of the chamber, or positioned beneath the chamber itself; it incorporates various electrical components, including switches, indicator lights, temperature controllers, and blowers.

 

The electric heating assembly typically consists of multiple heating wires connected in parallel, which are uniformly wound around an insulating board fabricated from refractory material.
