This equipment is developed according to UL510 and is used to test the flame-retardant performance of adhesive tape under specified conditions.

The tester adopts an integrated design combining the combustion chamber, control cabinet, and fume hood, making it practical, attractive, and convenient for user operation.

A. Chamber and Fixture Features

• Chamber dimensions: 850 mm x 650 mm x 1750 mm.
• Painted chamber finish with black baked internal coating as required by the standard and good corrosion resistance.
• Large glass observation window for convenient monitoring of specimen combustion status.
• Advanced industrial appearance design and ergonomic test operation layout, including an easy-to-operate burner pull-rod design.
• All fixtures are made of 304 stainless steel, with an integrated design for convenient operation and space saving.
• 304 stainless steel flame height gauge.
• Stainless steel ruler with 0.5 mm accuracy.

B. Burner and Gas Control

• Imported Bunsen burner from the United States, tube length 100 mm ±10 mm and inner diameter 9.5 mm, fully compliant with UL510 burner requirements.
• The burner itself can adjust both flow rate and air intake.
• Imported flow meter and precision needle valve for accurate control of combustion gas flow.
• Imported high-precision pressure regulating valve and pressure gauge with range 0 to 0.4 MPa.

C. Microcomputer Control System

• Programmable controller with touch screen for control, detection, calculation, and data display.
• Automatic pulse high-voltage electronic ignition.
• Timing button works with PLC to automatically record and store combustion duration.
• No manual stopwatch or handwritten timing required; test time is automatically recorded and test reports are generated.
• Test time and flame application time can be set on the touch screen to satisfy multiple test standard requirements.
• Automatic timing device records test time, stores it in the system, and allows report query.
• Top-mounted exhaust fan removes combustion fumes after the test. Customer shall prepare the external exhaust duct and gas supply.
