This equipment is designed and manufactured according to the combustion testing requirements for automotive wires in QC/T 730-2005.

This integrated tester is an intelligent model equipped with PLC and touch-screen control. After start-up, users can freely select the required automotive wire harness combustion test program on the screen.

Program time can be set freely. The system automatically controls ignition time and records test duration and flame extinguishing time. Test data are automatically stored and can be recalled freely.

A. Chamber and Fixture Features

• Chamber size: 1200 mm x 600 mm x 1300 mm.
• Large test chamber volume of 0.55 m3 to ensure sufficient air supply during testing.
• Painted chamber with black baked internal coating according to standard requirements and good corrosion resistance.
• Integrated design combining the test section and control section for convenient on-site installation and commissioning.
• Large glass observation window for convenient monitoring of specimen burning status.
• Advanced industrial appearance and ergonomic design, making the specimen and burner pull-rod easy to access and operate.
• 304 stainless steel flame height gauge with 0.5 mm precision.

B. Burner and Gas Control

• Burner angle can be conveniently adjusted to 0 or 45 degrees.
• Imported Bunsen burner from the United States, tube length 100 mm ±10 mm and inner diameter 9.5 mm ±0.3 mm, fully compliant with IEC 60695-11-4 burner requirements.
• The burner itself can adjust both gas flow and air intake.
• Imported flow meter and precision needle valve for accurate control of combustion gas flow.
• Imported high-precision pressure regulating valve and pressure gauge, range 0 to 0.4 MPa.
• Precise control of blue flame height at 50 mm ±2 mm and total flame height at 100 mm, dedicated for wire burning tests.

C. Microcomputer Control System

• Seven-inch programmable controller touch screen for control, detection, calculation, and data display.
• Automatic pulse high-voltage electronic ignition.
• Timing button works with PLC to automatically record and store combustion time.
• Automatic timing device records test time, stores it in the system, and allows report query.
• No manual stopwatch or handwritten timing is required; the system automatically records test time and generates test reports.
• Test time and flame application time can be set on the touch screen to satisfy multiple standard requirements.
• Dedicated wire combustion test program.
• Top-mounted exhaust fan removes combustion fumes after the test. Customer shall prepare the external exhaust duct and gas supply.
