Product Introduction
The TESTECH electrical burner test machine is intended for French M1 level combustion testing and complies with the NFP 92-503 test method.
Using a calibrated thermal radiation furnace, the specimen is exposed to thermal radiation while a timed flame impact is applied. The test observes afterflame, dripping behavior, and specimen damage length to determine whether the material meets French M1 classification requirements.


System Configuration
- The system consists of an electrical control cabinet, heating unit, calibration device, specimen holder, and sector burner.
Main Features
- Electrical control cabinet with painted sheet metal construction and neat industrial appearance.
- Control system uses PLC and touch screen to monitor the test process and results.
- Standard thermal radiation furnace with ceramic protective cover and central spiral metal rod for rapid, uniform, and stable airflow heating.
- Target temperature can be entered directly on the touch screen and is controlled accurately by PID algorithm.
- Calibration device uses a copper plate calorimeter made from a 30 mm diameter and 5 mm thick copper plate with K-type thermocouple at the center.
- Sliding rail installed at the bottom of the apparatus for fast and accurate switching between test position and calibration position.
- Calibration method records the time for the calorimeter temperature to rise from 30 C to 80 C after the heating furnace stabilizes, approximately 1 minute.
- Specimen support designed in SUS304 stainless steel for durability and appearance.
- Specimen holder includes a flip mechanism with needle-type frame for convenient specimen installation.
- After specimen installation, the holder is turned to the test position and the system starts timing automatically.
- During the test, the specimen is positioned 30 mm from the center of the radiation furnace opening and inclined upward at 30 degrees.
- Sector burner applies flame impact to the specimen.
- Imported rotameter provides fine flame height adjustment.
- Flame gauge supplied for convenient checking of the 30 mm flame height.
- Warning system provides audible and visual alarm prompts for flame impact operation.
