Product Introduction

 

This product is a customized combustion tester designed according to aviation standard CCAR-25 Appendix F Part I, with reference to GB/T 5455.

The equipment integrates the requirements of vertical combustion in item b4, horizontal combustion in item b6, and chamber requirements in item b7 of Appendix F Part I, and includes two customized sample holders according to item b2.

 

It is designed as an integrated machine. The PLC and touch-screen control system provide higher automation and easier data extraction, with four independent combustion test programs: horizontal, vertical, 45-degree, and 60-degree.

 

Main Features

 

  • Painted chamber with transparent observation window and exhaust device for automatic smoke extraction.
  • Combustion chamber dimensions: 700 mm x 450 mm x 800 mm.
  • Electronic automatic ignition. Flame exposure duration can be adjusted automatically according to different tests and can also be set freely.
  • Ignition time can be freely set from 0 to 99.99 s. Afterflame time and flame-retardant time are automatically recorded and digitally displayed with time accuracy of 0.01 s. After flame exposure, the burner is automatically shut off.
  • Flame height is adjustable and can be equipped with a flame temperature measurement device.
  • Push-pull sample rack fixing device.
  • Burner is fixed on a sliding rail. When pushed to the combustion position, timing starts automatically.
  • Imported needle valve precisely controls gas flow and flame height of 38.1 mm.
  • Multiple specimen holders are available according to different test samples, including customized BWF sample holders.
  • Imported pressure gauge and pressure regulator for gas pressure adjustment.
  • Vertical burning sample holder supports specimen size 76 mm x 308 mm with exposed specimen size 50.8 mm x 305 mm, using an imported Bunsen burner with 9.5 mm tube inner diameter.
  • Equipped with horizontal, vertical, 45-degree, and 60-degree burning test holders and corresponding test programs.
  • Horizontal flame sample size: 76 mm x 305 mm, thickness not more than 3 mm.
  • Vertical flame sample size: 76 mm x 305 mm, thickness less than the minimum thickness of composite materials used on the aircraft.
  • 45-degree flame sample: square specimen 203 mm x 203 mm, thickness less than the minimum thickness of composite materials used on the aircraft.
  • 60-degree flame sample: standard specified span length 610 mm.
  • Factory flame temperature verification at 843 C.
  • Ignition time can be set freely, with automatic reminder when time is reached.
  • PLC with touch-screen microcomputer control system for more automated testing and automatic data recording and storage.
  • System provides storage for 6 to 8 specimen data sets.
  • The front door is open during testing and closed after the experiment; an optional decorative front door is available.
