• This instrument is used for tracking and erosion resistance testing of electrical and electronic products, household appliances, and their materials.
• It simulates wet and contaminated conditions under power frequency of 48 Hz to 62 Hz, using liquid contaminants and inclined specimens to evaluate the tracking and erosion resistance class of electrical insulating materials used in severe environmental conditions.
• The equipment is strictly designed and manufactured in accordance with GB/T 6553-2014 and IEC 60587.

• Five test stations.
• Electrodes made of 304 stainless steel with thickness 0.5 mm; distance between upper and lower electrodes is 50.0 mm ±0.1 mm.
• Test voltage continuously adjustable from 100 V to 6000 V.
• Voltage stability: ±1%.
• Voltage regulator output: 0 to 250 V adjustable, capacity 5 kVA.
• Test transformer capacity: 5 kVA, maximum output voltage AC 6000 V, with optional DC 6000 V.
• Output voltage switchable between AC and DC.
• High-precision voltage stabilizer: output AC 220 V, power 6000 W, accuracy ±1%.
• If current in the high-voltage circuit reaches or exceeds 60 mA for 2 seconds, the relay operates, cuts off the current, and activates buzzer alarm to indicate specimen failure.
• Tracking judgment according to GB/T 6553-2014 clause 4.1.2: voltage of 2.5 kV, 3.5 kV, 4.5 kV, or 6 kV is applied and contaminant liquid is dripped at a specified flow rate; passing condition is no overcurrent below 60 mA for 6 hours.
• Total test duration: 6 hours.
• Droplet interval presettable and continuously adjustable from 0 to 99.99 s/min/h.
• High-precision dripping system with adjustable dripping height; equipped with longer-type precision peristaltic pump, flow range 0.00185 to 20 mL/min, speed 0.1 to 50 rpm, flow accuracy error less than 0.5%.
• Test solution is a mixture of ammonium chloride, octylphenoxy polyethoxy ethanol nonionic wetting agent, and distilled or deionized water; resistivity at 23 ±1 °C shall be 3.95 ±0.05 ohm·m.
• Filter paper dimensions made according to the standard, thickness 0.15 to 0.17 mm.
• Cabinet made of SUS304 stainless steel with brushed finish.
• Contaminant liquid tank made of 316 stainless steel with sealed structure.
• Working chamber dimensions: 900 mm x 650 mm x 950 mm, volume 0.56 m3.
• Overall instrument dimensions: 1300 mm x 700 mm x 1800 mm.
• The test system is controlled by PLC and any single test station can be controlled independently.
• PLC plus touch-screen control system provides precise control, easy operation, and automatically generates and stores the test report after completion.
