Product Introduction

 

This TESTECH test equipment is designed and developed according to the realistic-condition fire-resistance test requirements of UIC 564-2 Appendix 14.

 

The apparatus simulates the test chamber as a corner of an actual railway passenger compartment under the same conditions. Under clearly specified ignition conditions, the progress of fire development is observed and test process parameters are recorded.

Structural Features

 

  • Chamber formed as a cubic enclosure with length, width, and height of 3000 mm ±30 mm.
  • Frame structure with refractory and high-temperature-resistant calcium silicate board lining and stainless steel outer plates.
  • All internal fixtures made of stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability.
  • Ventilation openings with total area of 50 cm2 ±10 cm2.
  • Vertical partitions connected at right angles, approximately 1.2 m wide and 2 m high.
  • Door with sealed toughened-glass observation window.
  • Imported thermocouples from the United States.

Optional Smoke Density Test System

 

  • Halogen lamp with clean crystal bulb and tungsten filament, color temperature 2900 K, power 100 W, DC 12V, nominal luminous flux 2000 lm to 3000 lm.
  • Transparent sealed windows on opposite sides for the horizontal optical measurement system, located 2150 mm ±100 mm above floor level.
  • Phototube and light source placed at the center of each window without physical contact.
  • Imported silicon photocell module to measure light attenuation caused by smoke, ensuring transmittance linearity.
  • Optical density measurement range from 0 percent to 100 percent.
  • Filter arrangement to verify proper luminous flux adjustment and smoke density testing at the source position.
  • Support system for mounting special smoke-density light source and imported high-resolution phototube receiver on the outer wall.
  • Sealed door and window structure in the test room.
  • Standard light source power 100 W, standard voltage DC 12V, standard luminous flux 2000 lm to 3000 lm, standard color temperature 2800 K to 3200 K.
  • Optical path calibration system covering 0 to 100 percent calibration points.
  • Heating system installed in the box to quickly reach specified temperature of 25 C ±5 C.
  • Computer-based measurement and control system with Chinese menu prompts and curve display.
  • Test room provided with air exhaust opening and indoor exhaust capacity of approximately 7 to 15 cubic meters per minute.
