Product Overview
The TESTech hard foam horizontal burning test instrument is designed according to the Chinese standard GB/T 8332-2008.
It uses the horizontal burning method to determine the burning performance of foam plastics and is suitable for testing small foam plastic specimens with density lower than 250 kg/m3 under a small flame.
The instrument uses PLC together with a touch screen to realize intelligent test measurement and to provide a convenient and simple operation process for the user.

- The test instrument integrates the test section and control section in one design, which is convenient for on-site installation and commissioning.
- Large observation window for convenient observation of specimen burning status; chamber volume not less than 0.5 m3.
- Advanced industrial appearance and control design, convenient for accessing the specimen and burner.
- The burner movement can be controlled after the door is closed. Exhaust port and exhaust fan are provided.
- Imported Bunsen burner from the United States complies with ISO 10093:1998. Tube length 100 +/- 10 mm, inner diameter 9.5 +/- 0.3 mm. Blue flame height is precisely controlled at 25 to 35 mm. Horizontal burning is equipped with wing top nozzle, height 400 mm; for vertical burning, the burner is at 15 degrees to the vertical line.
- Programmable logic controller PLC with touch screen realizes control, detection, calculation, and data display.
- Pulse high-voltage electronic automatic ignition.
- Timing reminder and automatic storage of timing data, which is included in the test report.
- Test time and flame application time can be set on the touch screen.
- Intelligent temperature display on LCD screen.
- Imported pressure gauge and pressure regulating valve.
- Imported needle valve combined with gas mass flow meter precisely controls gas flow.
- Automatic timer device records test time.
- Flame height for horizontal burning: blue inner flame 38 mm, with measured temperature of 1000 degrees C at the wing top.
- Specimen support for horizontal burning: phi0.8 mm steel wire, mesh size 6.4 mm on each side, mesh length 215 mm, width 75 mm, height 13 mm.
