Product Overview
IEC 60754 Part 1 and Part 2 tests determine the acidity of gases generated during combustion of cable materials by measuring pH value and conductivity, including hydrogen halide gas volume, pH concentration, hydrogen ion level, and electrical conductivity.

Main Features
- Tubular furnace, support frame, and thermocouple.
- The control chamber uses electronic temperature control for the tubular furnace and can optionally be equipped with an over-temperature controller and specimen temperature indicator.
- Two gas collection bottles; sample chamber size 1 liter.
- pH value and conductivity measuring instrument with electronic display and electrodes.
- Flowmeter and all required silica fire-resistant pipelines to prevent corrosion by gas.
- Activated carbon air filter for gas source filtration.
- Silica gel dryer for drying the gas source.
- Pyrex tube design allows the user to easily insert the specimen into the furnace tube while protecting the tube from damage.
- Burning boat moving system provides automatic movement of the burning boat.
- Mode changeover switch allows selection of two test methods: IEC 60754-1 and IEC 60754-2.
- Temperature alarm controller controls furnace temperature and prevents overheating.
- Timer is used for measuring time during IEC 60754-1 or IEC 60754-2 tests.
- Drawer provided for storing accessories such as the conductivity meter and pH meter.
- Temperature display shows the core temperature of the thermocouple in the furnace.
- Permanent magnetic stirrer mixes combustion gases into distilled water.
- Conductivity meter used to measure conductivity of combustion gases.
