Product Overview
The Single Cable Propagation Tester is used to test the flame-retardant properties of the insulating layer of single wires and cables under abnormal conditions such as overheating and overcurrent.
It is used for vertical flame spread testing of wires, cables, or fiber-optic cables and can also examine the burning condition of dripping material under flame conditions.

- Intelligent instrumentation and control system.
- Automatic ignition system and automatic timing.
- Integrated design of test section and control section for convenient installation and debugging.
- Painted sheet-metal combustion chamber; internal cavity height 1200 mm, width 300 mm, depth 450 mm.
- Two stainless steel rods with perforation and bolted fixation for single wire, cable, or fiber-optic cable specimen.
- Premixed burner with inner diameter 12 +/- 0.5 mm and length about 100 mm. Standard 1 kW mixed burner provides accurate test flame source. Control box is equipped with pressure gauge, pressure relief valve, rotameter, and shutoff ball valve.
- One-way gas valve inside the control box provides additional safety assurance.
- Flame application time and burning time can be adjusted from 0 to 99 min 99 s with automatic control of the test process.
- Needle valve precisely adjusts flame height: blue flame 50 mm to 60 mm and total height 170 mm to 190 mm according to standards.
- Flowmeter controls gas flow: propane 650 mL/min +/- 30 mL/min; air 10 L/min +/- 0.5 L/min.
- Imported brand gas pressure gauge and regulating valve precisely control gas pressure.
- Equipped with flame height gauge.
- Includes gas flow meter and pressure control with automatic ignition.
- Torch angle adjustable between 45 degrees and 0 degrees.
- Flame checking device is optional.
