Product Introduction

 

The TESTech molten metal splash tester for protective clothing is designed and manufactured according to ISO 9185-2007. During the test, an appropriate amount of molten metal is splashed onto a specimen positioned at a specified angle. A PVC film is attached in contact with the back of the specimen, and the damage is evaluated by observing the condition of the PVC film after the splash process.

 

Based on the test result, the test is repeated with a larger or smaller quantity of molten metal until the damage to the PVC film is minimized.

  • The equipment consists of a control box, test bench, and crucible.
  • Crucible height 97 mm, top diameter 80 mm, bottom diameter 56 mm, capacity 190 ml.
  • Thermocouple with temperature measurement range 0-1800 C for measuring molten metal temperature.
  • Test bench equipped with an automatic tilting device controlled by a stepping motor for tilting speed and angle.
  • Specimen installation angle adjustable.
  • Adjustment device and ruler provided for convenient and accurate pouring height adjustment.
  • Clamp provided for gripping, moving, and installing the crucible.
  • Bottom of the test bench equipped with a collection device for splashed metal.
  • Optional metal high-frequency melting furnace with melting temperature up to 1800-2000 C.
